With reference to your letter of 19th February

3324/98, I have the honour to inform you that the Guardians

of the Parish of Stoke Damerel have refunded to us the sum

of £1. 5. 9 the amount overpaid for the maintenance of the

wife and child of T. Warren, late warder in the service of

the Hong Kong Government for the month of June 1897. The

amount has been placed to the credit of the Colony.
